What time can I do the offering at Wat Nyanavesakavan?

Food Offering

Food offering should be prepared at least 30 minutes before morning and forenoon meals.  If you arrive later from the time set for meal taking (7.30 for the morning meal; 10.45 for the forenoon one), please present your foods to the monks before putting them among those that have been received by monks.

Alms Offering

The time set for alms offering on Monday to Friday is 9.00 – 10.30 in the morning.  On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 4 turns of alms offering are allowed at 9.00 and 9.45 in the morning; and 1.00 and 3.00 in the afternoon.

In each turn, one monk as the representative of the Sangha will be responsible for the alms receiving.  Any wishes for a special offering to more than one monk, or in a private place, please contact the staff at least 15 days in advance.

In order not to disturb the study and practice time of the Sangha, please present your offering within the time set.

Please be informed that after 12 pm., no food (whether perishable or non-perishable) is allowed as offering, as to follow the monastic discipline.
